One of the eight evolution options for Eevee, Vaporeon was one of the first three to be introduced to the series. Tests show that its cells are very similar to water molecules, and can use that to control the water around it freely or melt into the water to become invisible. Vaporeon is one of the few Pokémon that have appeared in every mainline game, alongside Eevee, Jolteon and Flareon, Pikachu, Porygon and a few others. Vaporeon was also the inspiration for Orcane from the Rivals of Aether series, who has a similar moveset to Vaporeon’s in Super Smash Land.
